MOTHER’S DAY SCONES TO SUPPORT BC WOMEN’S HEALTH FOUNDATION

Mother’s Day just got sweeter. This Mother’s Day weekend (May 7 & May 8), buy any scone at any COBS Bread bakery in BC and $1 will be donated in support of BC Women’s Health Foundation (BCWHF). Our goal is to raise $45,000 for the Foundation.

Our moms and caretakers are our heroes. And our heroes go through a lot. BCWHF have identified that 73% of women report negative health outcomes from increased caring for, or concern about, elderly or disabled family members, with anxiety being the main impact. 1 in 5 women experience postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, or other reproductive mental health issues, and the ongoing pandemic has only amplified these experiences. 31% of women reported their needs were not being met by the healthcare system. BCWHF ensure women have equitable access to the highest quality healthcare when, where, and how they need it, and we’re proud to partner with them this Mother’s Day.
