You’ve got a couple options to explore when it comes to joining the COBS Bread network and buying your bakery. You might be in a new market where the choice is clear—you want to open a brand new COBS Bread bakery! Alternately, there may be an existing COBS Bread listed on our Available Bakeries page that you might love.
Buy and open a new bakery
We’d love to help you set up shop in a fresh new location. To sweeten the deal, when you open a new bakery, there’s no initial franchise fee.
Approximately $200K+ liquid capital is required on a total investment of $850K+ plus tax.

The Steps To Owning Your Future
We’re thrilled that you’re here and that you are considering COBS Bread for a rewarding new adventure.
Step one: Get started by submitting an inquiry form, and you’ll be provided with some additional franchise information by email.
Step two: Submit an application for official consideration.
Step three: Following that, you’ll be contacted by one of our Franchise Recruitment Managers with whom you’ll have an informative discussion.
Step four: You’ll meet our operations team and one of our Regional Directors which will give you a thorough idea of the role of a franchisee.
Step five: This step includes Discovery Day, where you’ll be working in one of our bakeries for a day to find out what it’s like owning a franchise.
Step six: You’re approved to become a COBS Bread bakery owner! This is where you’ll get ready to sign a commitment agreement, place a deposit on your COBS Bread bakery and change your life forever!
